Does Grand Soleil Charter collect any personal information about me?

Grand Soleil Charter does not store any personal information that you provide when you interact with our site unless you fill out and submit a form from the Grand Soleil Charter site. If you chose to fill out a Grand Soleil Charter Request Form we will 'remember you' by transferring a 'cookie' to your hard drive. This allows us to automatically fill out form information and present you with this information that you provided on an earlier visit. This personal information, such as name, address, phone number, and email information saves you the task of re-entering this information every time you request something from us by filling out a web site Request Form.

We do not collect any personal information without your knowledge and permission, nor do we sell or rent any site visit data to other parties.

Until you, and if you, choose to "submit" a web site Request Form, you will be assigned a temporary "session cookie" in order for us to keep track of your language and country selection as well as any personal information you have entered on one of our web site request forms. If you do not "submit" this web site request form, the web site request form information is deleted when the "session cookie" is removed upon exiting the Grand Soleil Charter web site. Once you "submit" a web site request form, we write a "cookie" with your information to "your" hard drive and remove this information from temporary storage. In order to do this Grand Soleil Charter requires cookies for language, country, and Request Form information and therefore we recommend that you leave cookies turned on while using our site.

I've visited Grand Soleil Charter web site before, can I skip some of the data entry and have you pre-fill my personal information?

If you are have visited Grand Soleil Charter web site before and filled out and submitted a web site request form and had your cookies turned on at that time, we should be able to use your Grand Soleil Charter cookie to pre-fill information that you have previously provided to us; if you still have the Grand Soleil Charter cookie on your hard drive. This information may include your name, address, phone number, and email address. This will help speed up the process when making another Grand Soleil Charter web site request.

Do I need to enable certain browser settings to use this site?

Grand Soleil Charter requires the use of "stored cookies" and JavaScript to provide you with a feature-rich site. To achieve the best possible user experience when visiting our site, we recommend that you enable these settings. Please review the details below to learn more:

Why does Grand Soleil Charter require 'cookies'and JavaScript?

At the most simple level, Grand Soleil Charter requires the use of "session cookies" to remember your request information between each page of the site so you do not have to re-enter this information if you choose to fill out another request form. Additionally, if you choose to fill out and "submit" any web site request form, Grand Soleil Charter will, 'remember you' by transferring a ' stored cookie" to your hard drive. This allows us to remember your request information and present you with pre-filled request forms upon subsequent web site visits. JavaScript is used to enhance the experience even further.

To enjoy the convenience of not having to fill out a request form with your name, address, phone number, and email details each time you visit the site, you must make sure your browser is set up to accept cookies.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small non-executable data files written to your hard drive or memory. These data files contain information the site can use to track such things as data you have entered, lists of pages you've visited, and the date when you last looked at a certain page. Cookies cannot perform any function on your hard drive, they simply store small amounts of information that can be read by the site that originally stored the cookie.

Browsers offer you the option to "Warn Before Accepting Cookies". This is turned off by default. If you turn it on, you will get a dialog box telling you a cookie is being used. Simply accept the cookie to move on.
